The Problem
Talent managers need to be able to sift through thousands of resumes and submitted applications. The applicants come from a wide variety of backgrounds with different skills, and the talent managers need to know who the best candidates are in order to place them successfully.
Objective
Create a software solution that would allow the users to easily categorize and organize thousands of applicants.
Research
I watched talent managers use their current system in Google sheets and took note of which categories were used to tag applicants and what common notes were. The biggest need was the ability to search uploaded resumes quickly, rather than individually downloading and searching resumes for specific roles.
Design Process
The design process involved creating a design system and library for the application, creating and reviewing wireframes with the co-founders, and then creating the final designs.
